Justice Jennifer Brunner

Currently the only Democrat on the 6-1 Ohio Supreme Court, Justice Brunner has served on the court since 2020. Before her election she was a trial judge of the Franklin County Common Pleas Court--the state’s most populous county--and a judge for Ohio’s Tenth District Court of Appeals. Her GOP opponent will be one of four judges to be decided in the Republican primary.

Judge Marilyn Zayas

Currently serving on Ohio's First District Court of Appeals, Judge Zayas "pledges to bring common sense, leave politics at the door, ensure fair access, and rule based solely on the law and facts. At a time when confidence in our judiciary is eroding...I believe that Ohio Supreme Court should a beacon of integrity and accountability, free from outside influence. I enter this race as a judge whose record has earned trust across political lines.
