Stand Up to the Bully

Joyce Vance remembers Senator Joe McCarthy who destroyed people’s careers by accusing them of being Communists in the early 1950s. No one stood up to him until a lawyer asked McCarthy in a televised confrontation “Have you no sense of decency?”
Now we can stand up to Trump who is abusing the powers of the presidency to bully individuals and institutions. Make him face a Democratic majority in Congress next year when every seat in the House (including Bob Latta’s) and 33 seats in the Senate (including Jon Husted’s) will be on the ballot. But we must vote.
