Mathews Votes to Pass Higher Education Overhaul

Despite over 1500 opposing testimonies and protests outside the Statehouse, Rep. Mathews joined 58 Republicans to pass S.B. 1 "Advance Ohio Higher Education Act" to supposedly stop "liberal indoctrination" at Ohio's public colleges. Then the bill's title was amended to include the names of over 2 dozen Reps, including Mathews.
