New Threat to Your Right to Vote:
The "SAVE America" Act
Tell Senator Moreno
(202-224-2315)
Senator Husted
(202-224-3353)
to protect voting rights.
Tell them to vote NO
on the "SAVE America" Act.
In April 2025, the House of Representatives passed the SAVE Act
voter suppression bill, but it stalled in the Senate.
Now a new, more extreme "SAVE America" Act is up for Congressional vote.
Sponsored by GOP Texas Rep Chip Roy,
but largely written by one of the unindicted masterminds of the 2020 fake electors scheme.
UPDATE
On Feb. 11th, Bob Latta and the GOP majority House voted to pass the Act 218 to 213.
It awaits a vote in the Senate.
State UPDATE
The Threat to Your Right to Vote in Ohio is HERE!
Taking provisions from the stalled SB 153 and rushed through the State Legislature with only one hearing,
Senate Bill 293 "Revise deadline to return absent voter ballots"
was sent to Governor DeWine who signed it into law on Dec. 19th.
Sen. GOP Majority Leader Theresa Gavarone of Bowling Green posted that she was “proud to sponsor SB 293, which aligns with President Trump’s recent election integrity Executive Order.”
She failed to mention that Trump's Department of (In)Justice theatened Ohio with "costly litigation" if we didn't change our election laws.

Read below the overwhelming citizen opposition to
SB 153...which explains why Gavarone
(and Ty Mathews with his 'Yes' vote)
deviously rammed 293 through just before Christmas.
On October 28, 2025 the General Government Committee had its fourth hearing for testimony on SB 153. At this point, opponents, proponents, and interested parties have had an opportunity to either submit written testimony or speak at the Statehouse in person.
Here's what happened:
-
114 pieces of opponent testimony submitted
-
3 proponent testimonies (including Secretary of State Frank LaRose)
That's a 38-to-1 opposition ratio.
On May 27, 2025--with little advance notice--the Ohio Senate General Government Committee held its 3rd hearing on SB 153
"Require citizenship verification before an elector may vote,"
the state's version of the Federal SAVE Act.
Over 20 people testified, including David Pepper opposing the bill. Co-sponsor Senator Theresa Gavarone seemed annoyed by Pepper by the end of his testimony.
